Without the support and involvement of like-minded animal lovers,we cannot help our animals. By building a sustainable and effective volunteer base, we aim to involve all those interested in helping our dear animals. This is where you come in!

You need not be apprehensive about what work you will be given if you join us and will you be able to do. We, at IDA, have come up with 6 different volunteer groups to suit each volunteer. Our Volunteer Coordinator has clearly laid down the tasks of each group:

Responsibilities
Recruit volunteers
Make call-ups to volunteers
Maintain and update database of volunteers
Key Skills: Should be organized and communicate well |

Marketing Group |
Responsibilities
Help the Marketing Coordinator
Arrange for marketing material & collateral
Create creative campaigns and themes
Be able to handle public touch points
Generate content for the website
Key Skills: Artistically inclined, creative person. |

Operations Group |
Responsibilities
Spend time at the center tending after the animals
Should be on call for rescues and action.
Should be hands on in the day to day functioning of IDA Navi Mumbai.
Should assist in Cruelty Cases
Key Skills: Should love animals and be capable of physical hands on work |

Donations and Canvassing Group |
Responsibilities
Should approach high net worth individuals and request for donations.
Should organize donation drives.
Should find new and innovative means on raising money.
Should account for donations through the collection boxes.
Key Skills: Should be able to communicate well and persuade people to donate |
| Adoptions Group |
Responsibilities
Should document the strays up for adoption.
Should work to find homes for these pets.
Should follow up on adoption cases.
Key Skills: Should be passionate about finding animals homes. |

All you have to do is decide which group you would fit in as per your liking and ability. And then enrol with us! We enrol volunteers for a period of 1 year, which can be renewed at the end of the year if desired by the volunteer. You need to fill this form:
