After the grand success of ‘Doggy Fun Fair’ in 2004, IDA India organized a similar event on a bigger scale on 24th April 2005 at St. Stanislaus School Ground, Bandra. More than 200 pet dogs participated with their guardians. Besides lot of fun-n-games, special demonstration by Dogs and Handlers of Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, Mumbai, special performances by dogs trained in agility sports, tarot card reading for pets and their guardians, were the star attractions. People and their pampered pooches had a gala time strolling through various pet stalls and food stalls. Members of IDA India’s Compassionate Children’s Club managed a special stall to spread awareness about compassion to animals. The event was organised by Ms. Pooja Sathe, Campaign Coordinator of IDA India, and was very much appreciated by all the participants.
