SubjectShot down of Dogs in Tirupati Airport premisis

Dear Sir,

I'm a resident of Renigunta Town where Tirupati Airport is very nearby, on 29th April 2010, the airport authorities shot down five dogs near the runway area.

Newspapers published the article stating that the airport controller( MR. Raman) informed them that " dogs are roaming around the runway area and there is no option of shot them down".

This is totally ridiculous and breach of violation against the animal rights act.

There are so many options to control the dogs in that area and without doing it they had bluntly shot them down.

I request you to take stern action against the officials involved in this incident and inform the same to the other authorities to control these type of misuse of power.

Can I do anything in this regard?

regards
Sailendra

i m so shocked and surprised to see that people actually do these things and call themselves as humans???? ridiculous .

Would they do the same thing if tomorrow their kids are found on the runway ??
