Hi,
I am animal lover. I have very much attachment with cats and dogs actually all the animals. There is one fishmarket in Citylight area(Mahim). There are number of cats from adult to 1-2 week old kittens. The problem is that they get injured or die as people drive vehicles like cycle, scooter, tempo or truck inside the market. people do not take care while thay drive vehicle inside the market. After every 2 or three day there are such incidents. Right now also there is one cat who has an injured leg. She has a kitten 2 weeks old. There are 6-8 kittens right now and nobody knows where they came from. Some of them died. There are some cat lovers who go and try to help them as much possible as they can. It is not always possible to carry the injured cats or kittens to the hospital.
Some of us were looking for a sheletr for cats nearby. Can you please help us to prevent the cats getting injured ir dead. Can we open a shelter for cats near mahim or Dadar area. Most of the centres are very far. The SPCA is at Parel and IDA is at Deonar. We have animal doctors near our area but it gets closed at 8 pm.
Is it possible to open IDA centre near Dadar? It will be very helpful there is some animal centre which will be open 24 hours. It will be very helpful for animal as they will get treatment on time.
Please let me know if we can do something for them.

Hi, as far as adoption of the kittens are concerned i will try from my side. But may be we should first get the cats sterilized. As far as their treatment is concerned, i live in parel close to the animal hospital and since deonar will be quite far off if you want any assitance i can definately help you with animal hospital. I wanted to ask can we do something so that vehicles are not allowed inside the market. Atleast there will be some reduction in injury and death of cats.
