IDA School Visit
IDA India has started an ambitious new educational project - spreading awareness regarding animal issues in schools.
Our first foray was into Manik Vidyamandir School in Bandra on 11th February, where the IDA team enjoyed an interesting interaction with two divisions of Std. V students, of sixty-five students each.
The team went well prepared with props and games calculated to stimulate the thinking processes of the kids. This time we concentrated on needs of companion animals and also strays that have to live on the road.
We will be making various modules for covering all types of animal issues and are looking forward to carrying out many such programmes in future. |
